The importance of exhaust gas purifying in Kitchen Engineering

Having meals is what all people have to face around the world. The food service industry growing fast in densely populated areas. It creates a thriving market and many employment opportunities. But it would also bring a range of urban environment pollution problems.

Due to lacking of good layout and management measures, some restaurant cost fume pollution to the surrounding environment and give bad impact to people’s life there since its opening. In China, all kinds of complaints caused by the environmental pollution came from restaurants are increasing in recent years. Disputes between the restaurant and the local also occurred continually.

To solve these problems, some local governments in China require the restaurants there must purify the fume before its discharged. About how to purify the fume, installation of Klean’s air cleaner (electrostatic precipitator) is a viable option. Some complaint restaurants solve the major conflict with neighboring residents about the fume pollution after installed Klean’s electrostatic precipitator (ESP). And no fume will be seen at the exhaust outlet.

Stenter exhaust gas treatment system

As we know, when stenter is operating, the set fabric would discharge a large amount of high temperature exhaust gas. The exhaust gas is not only with a lot of heat, but also accompanies with emissions of other harmful pollutants, such as organic oil, dyes, additives and fiber particles, Which would cause heat losses and air pollution.
The principle of this system is that the high temperature exhaust gas first gets through the gas-water heat exchanger device installed in the master pipe, so that the heat of exhaust gas would be absorbed by the tap water, the heated water would be injected into a hot water tank and used in industrial production, and then the temperature of the exhaust gas drops. Finally, the exhaust gas would get through the electrostatic precipitator to segregate fiber particles and eliminate the harmful pollutants, such as organic oil, dyes, additives and become clean air which meets the discharge standards. Most crucially, with this process, it can save energy consumption, reduce pollution and cut down the cost of the production.


Notes:
①Bypass valve: When the heat recovery and fume purification system doesn’t work, the exhaust gas from the stenter can pass through the exhaust duct and discharge from the bypass valve and for which, the stenter can work normally without the fault of the system.
②Gas-water heat exchanger: The high temperature exhaust gas gets through the gas-water heat exchanger device installed in the master pipe, so that the heat of exhaust gas would be absorbed by the tap water, the heated water would be injected into a tank and used in industrial production, and then the temperature of the exhaust gas drops.
③ESP (electrostatic precipitator): On the one hand, it's a method of filtration based on the principles of electrostatics, which is used for oil mist purification in various industries (over 98% high purification efficiency). On the other hand, it can recycle industrial waste oil, for example, it can recycle 200kg textile auxiliary oil mist from a 6-8 chamber stenter with a comparatively high purity.
④Fire damper: When there are spark discharges which would result in fire in the ESP, the fire dampers would close automatically to avoid the spreading of the fire.
⑤Fire control system: Fire control system has various functions such as failure alarm, closing fire damper, and can feedback manual, automatic, alarming, failure and spray signals to the fire control centre.
